Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 Cup All purpose flower
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Sweetly Stevia, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Yogurt
- For The Chocolate Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons Heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips
Directions
For The Donuts:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Grease a donut pan and set aside
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, set aside
4. In a medium bowl whisk egg and Sweetly Stevia
5. Add yogurt, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter, whisk until well combined
6. Fill donut cavities with batter ¾ the way full using a spoon
7. Bake for 9-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes
9. Remove donuts from the pan and allow to cool completely
10. Add the glaze
Enjoy!
For The Chocolate Glaze:
1. Combine the heavy cream, butter, and dark chocolate in a bowl
2. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth
3. Dip the tops of the donuts in the glaze and place on a cooling rack
